FAQ VING Running Sandals – Frequently Asked Questions
Cleaning & Maintenance
Q1: Can I use an alcohol wipe to clean shoes VING?
A: Not recommended as it may cause the sandals to turn alkaline. Use liquid soap, clean water, or shoe cleaning foam instead.
Q16: Are the shoes easy to clean?
Easy to clean: wipe with a wet tissue, mild soap, or gentle cleaning solution is sufficient. For stubborn stains, use the dedicated cleaner.
Q32: Are the shoes faded?
Currently, no color fading issues have been caused by shoes directly. If symptoms occur, please report to our team along with details such as the brand of socks used.
Sizing & Fit
Q5: Normally, I wear canvas shoes size 40; if I buy the Kirion model, which size should I choose?
A: Should be reduced by 1–2 sizes from standard canvas shoes, but for the new Kirion color, use normal sizing.
Q6: Originally worn Elite size 38, if switched to Kirion, what size should I wear?
A: Most sizes decrease by 1 size → 37 (except for the new Kirion color which is available in its actual size).
Q20: Normally, I wear US size 10. If it is the Vari-S model, which size should I choose?

Running & Training
Q2: Which model is best suited for trail running?
A: Kirion is ideal for trail running, offering a firm sole and excellent road traction; however, it should be paired with Elite for optimal performance.
Q9: I would like to get sandals for running a marathon. Which model should I choose?
A: Elite comes with straps and socks for a snug fit and reduced friction.
Q15: If running on a treadmill causes the shoes to wear out too quickly, what should be done?
A: Elevate your stride during running to prevent foot dragging like sandpaper.
Q31: Can the Meki model be used on a treadmill?
A: Yes, but please raise your foot slightly to prevent the floor from wearing down too quickly.
Q28: Why does running on a treadmill cause static electricity?
A: Caused by weather conditions or dry materials; wear socks or use a towel to hold your feet on the treadmill to reduce static electricity.
Fit & Comfort Issues
Q3: Which flat shoe model should be selected?
A: Vari-V and Vari-S are ideal for flat feet and cushioned soles.
Q4: How can I fix if the shoes are too loose?
Use a hair dryer to blow for 2–3 minutes; the shoes will shrink and tighten.
Q7: Is Kirion suitable for cushioning and flat feet?
A: Not as suitable as Vari-V and Vari-S because they do not provide specific foot support.
Q8: How to fix an overly tight fit on the Kirion strap?
A: Can be stretched to expand the strap.
Q13: Will the shoes bite your feet?
A: Kirion may cause slight discomfort during the initial phase; recommend wearing socks or tights, or use a hot air dryer to stretch the shoe.
Q14: What should I do if my foot is bitten by Kirion?
A: Take a break, wear Tawaslean socks, and gradually increase your distance. If strenuous activity occurs, the model may be changed.
Q23: How to fix Excessively Tight Laces on the Foot?
A: Use a hot air dryer, then pull the strap to expand it.
Q24: What causes cramps after wearing Kirion?
A: This may be due to the body not adapting well to running heavy shoes, excessive exercise, or a lack of electrolytes; you should rest and adjust your usage.
Q27: How does Kirion correct toe alignment?
A: Use Vaseline socks and pull the strap if your toes are too flat or protruding; this may be difficult to avoid.
Q29: How to make the Meki model too tight?
A: Pull both straps until they fit perfectly.
