The Mongolian runner, Ving, is paired with just one pair.
Pichit Ang Until The Sundown: Mid Rain
Distance: 120 km in 12 hours
.
Believe it or not, the story of the Mongolian man named...
BUDJARGAL BYAMBAA has lived and trained in Chiang Mai since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
.
From personal statistics, he ran for 10 days covering 1301 km, which earned him the world record for the longest running distance (coastal). However, at 100 km, BB stated it was too short for him, potentially resulting in a suboptimal time; however, he will do his best before the event concludes. The original stadium's record for 120 km is 24 laps, while his personal 100 km record stands at 12 hours, indicating a significant gap from the top. I am therefore curious about how fast he might be able to run.
.
BB told me that he is a frutarian or someone who eats only fruits. I have been wondering for a long time what they must eat during the race.
What was found is that they have prepared a specialized energy drink formula by blending coconut meat with coconut water, offering a sweet, delicious taste enriched with minerals and energy. The drink is bottled at 100ml per bottle, totaling 50 bottles or 25 sets, which has been calculated to determine how many sets will be used during today's race.
.
When the real day arrives, rain continues to fall. BB arrives in a white outfit, shorts, and special Limite blue sandals Ving, featuring elastic ankle straps and a pair of thin gray socks. I was surprised that no warming up was done before the race; by the time it arrived, he had already waited at the starting point.
And when the whistle blew, he ran away immediately. My team and I were still not finished briefing on how to collect the Token coins and drop them into the designated slot.
.
I and my team rushed to the other side of the event at the checkpoint to receive water, but it was only 12 minutes before BB arrived. We were still waiting for the water to arrive, so we hurriedly returned to the other side to receive it.
After 24 minutes, BB Running ranked fourth, yet it turned out as expected. They didn't realize they needed to bring a medal along. So I ran, and I had to coordinate with the team to ensure coordination.
First run failed to hydrate the five first-time runners. When they reached the second round, they missed their water, so they continued running without turning back. This cycle repeated until the third round, when they were about 2 laps away from the starting point, approximately 1 minute behind.
.
BB ran continuously from the start, never stopping. No CP or tent entry like others. Only drank coconut water, entered the restroom six times, then continued running. Running, running, running...
.
After approximately 20 rounds, the first runner stopped to run due to injury, but BB continued to run without stopping. Rain fell, sun set, yet we kept running.
.
Time has passed for 11 hours and 25 minutes. BB arrived at the checkpoint and completed 24 laps or 120 km, which is the same as the original record. The spokesperson asked whether to continue, but he said nothing. He decided to keep going; it was likely because he didn't understand the situation well. After 35 minutes of running, he had to run another 6.30 km to arrive on time, but this was after completing 120 km.
.
At 17.57, the small man with only sandals and shorts burst from the finish line before the race concluded, maintaining speed at 5.30.
The finish line was reached by BB in 11 hours 58 minutes. The joke is that they were about to continue running when they had to stop. 555
.
The event concluded with four winners breaking the previous record price barrier, experiencing slight walking discomfort without any injuries. The remaining fruits were returned to the event organizers for further consumption, and Ambassador Moon Laem shared her joy.

BB says they run to find their own Nirvana.

What are you running for?
