How to Choose the Right Running Gear for Yourself (Especially Beginners)

Choosing a running event for beginners to achieve a good experience without injury is about evaluating "availability" and "appropriateness" as primary factors. Before deciding, always check the distance, grade, and cut-off time of the course. Do not choose based solely on aesthetics. Complement this by planning adequate training over 6–16 weeks according to the distance. Select events with favorable weather conditions, such as early morning races during hot months. Most importantly, establish a clear recovery plan, including rest, stretching, and the use of recovery shoes, because your feet are the most critical aspect you must prioritize.
