How many fields are there, and which race suits you best?
Running multiple events does not mean we should run as many as possible, because competitions too close together may disrupt both recovery and training blocks at more critical venues.
If you are just starting your event.
Start with a 5K or 10K race on an easy-to-travel route, using Race First as your learning zone for nutrition, the Start Corral water point, and post-race self-care.
If the goal is the Half Marathon
Select your race day to align with your Training Plan rather than relying solely on the venue's reputation. Your goal is to reach Race Day as soon as possible.
If you're going to a Marathon or Ultra
Read Course, Elevation, Cut-off, Mandatory Gear, and Route Type to ensure Road Loop 100K, Trail 100K, and Marathon cover all essential categories, as the road routes differ significantly in their physical demands.
VING Perspective
The best field is not necessarily the largest or furthest, but one that fits perfectly into your Training Plan, allowing you to stand at the Start Line when your body is truly ready.
Summary: By year-end, there are many fields available, but we prioritize our key target audience.
Since the Road Loop at Khon Kaen City Marathon in Krabi, along the seaside road in Bang Saen, the central route of Bangkok, and up to Mount Chiang Mai, from October to December 2026, nearly every style has been featured in the competition.
Choose a race that inspires you to train. Check the organizer's details thoroughly and don't forget to include Recovery in your calendar, because a great competition season isn't measured by the number of medals won, but by how well we remain ready for the next goal.

If you are just starting your run, what distance should you start at?
The 5K or 10K is a better starting point than the Half Marathon or Marathon because it takes less time to train and helps you get used to the competition atmosphere.
Can you run every week?
Depends on distance and effort level. If it's a Training Race, it can be managed; however, for consecutive All-Out events such as Half Marathon, Marathon, or Ultra, increased recovery is recommended.
Before applying, what should you check?
Check race day, location, distance, cutoff time, release time, entry fee, Race Pack policy, transfer rights, and mandatory gear for Trail or Ultra.
Competition dates, venues, and registration status may change. Please verify with the organizer's website before registering and traveling.
